THE CHALLENGE

Conceived as an entry point for 3 year olds to the exciting world of Scalextric, the existing pack design was in desperate need of an overhaul.
As well as achieving maximum standout at the point of purchase, this pack has to clearly communicate all the practical product benefits: what's in the box, what scale are the cars, what shaped track can be built.

 

THE SOLUTION

The creation of two young racing driver characters helps convey a great sense of fun and identifies with its intended audience; the use of 3D representations of the two cars allows for greater dynamism and impact. Clarity of design and simplicity of pack architecture ensures the delivery of the product's key messages and overall brand strength, especially in a crowded retail environment.
